A magnetic float moves up and down on probe immersed in a liquid. The float energizes the hermitically sealed sensors, which change from NO to NC or otherwise as the float - passes them.

Magnetic Float Level Switch is flexible to produce 1-6 float points as per demand, so it has cost advantage comparing with other types of level switch. Multi-point float switch is widely used in level control and alarm of all kinds of industry such as Oil, chemical, water treatment, water supply, drainage, dyeing, machinery etc.

High-temperature liquids, heat medium boiler, cooling water tank. Only need one float to control ON, OFF. Plastic materials include PP. It can be used for acid-base situation; material of SUS304/316 is suitable for high temperature and high pressure tanks.

Float level switch (float switch) consists of a magnetic float unit stem with magnetic reed switch. The magnetic float moves with liquid level to actuate a hermetically sealed magnetic switch within the unit stem. Single point level switches in most material are usually used for high or low alarm vessels. Multi-point level switches can be designed according to customers' requirements. The general-purpose high temp float level switch is an ideal choice for relatively clean water, diluted chemical or petroleum.

The working principle of Magnetic Float Level Switch is direct and simple. Set one point or
Multi-point of magnetic switch in sealed un-magnetic metal or industrial plastic tube. Fix the
float with inner magnetic system in a certain place of magnetic switch in the pipe and let the
float drift up and down; utilize the inner magnetic system in the float to trigger the open and
close of magnetic switch to operate and control the liquid level. It's simple working principle
has been proved to apply in liquid measuring under various working conditions. It is flexible
to produce 1-6 float points as per demand, so it has cost advantage comparing with other
types of level switch. Multi-point float level switch is widely used in level control and alarm
of all kinds of industry such as electronic, electric power, chemical, water treatment, water
supply and drainage, dyeing, machinery etc.

Characterized by simple operation principle, stable and reliable performance, long work life, wide application, various materials such as SUS, PP, PVC, PVDF etc., and many kinds of connecting methods, to satisfy different requirements under various circumstances.

Cautions for Installation
1. The inner bore diameter (D) of the flange or screw must be longer than the diameter of the float (d).
2. Wave-resistance tube needed if huge fluctuation of the liquid surface might happen.
3. Please keep far away from the water inlet during installation.
4. To avoid being stuck by the sundries.

Users should select suitable float according to the working temp., pressure, gravity, acid and alkali of the tested liquid.
1.Temperature:
PVC maximum temperature is 80°C, PP maximum temperature is 80°C,
PVDF maximum temperature is 150°C,
SUS304/316L maximum temperature is 200°C.
2.Pressure:
Plastic float maximum pressure resistance 5 kg/cm2,
SUS304/316L maximum pressure resistance 40 kg/cm2.
3.Viscosity:
For viscosity liquid, it is better to choose float with big diameter and small gravity to
overcome the surface tension of liquid.
4.Acid and alkali liquid:
Please choose PP or PVDF, if temp. is higher than 80°C, PVDF ONLY
5.Alcohol and oil etc. liquid:
It is suggested to use stainless SUS.
Please select food grade SUS316L in food field.
6.Gravity:
Float's gravity S.G. should be less than tested liquid.

Compact, rugged and virtually maintenance free, the Mini Side Mounting Float Switch can effectively meet the needs of large volume OEM users. The sensor is designed for side mounting into tanks that have restricted space or inaccessible tops or bottoms. Construction is all SUS304 for compatibility with a wide range of chemicals and is suitable for food processing requirements. Magnetic SPST switch operation is normally open (dry) when units are installed with float downward, or normally closed (dry) when installed with float upward. The liquid level switch requires side mounting into vessels, and is designed to provide maximum reliability. Stainless Steel side mounted float switches offer reliable performance and durability. This 304 series stainless steel switch is ideal for corrosion resistance applications or general level detection and comes standard with lead wire.

Side mounting float switch is cost effective for level control applications in small tanks where it is more convenient to install a level switch through the sidewall of the tank. When the float arm is raised to the switch housing, the switch is activated. As the float drops away from the housing, it is deactivated. The movement of the float brings the imbedded magnet into close proximity to the encapsulated reed switch, causing it to actuate. The contact function may be selected as either normally open or normally closed.
