A magnetic float moves up and down on probe immersed in a liquid. The float energizes the hermitically sealed sensors, which change from NO to NC or otherwise as the float - passes them.
Magnetic Float Level Switch is flexible to produce 1-6 float points as per demand, so it has cost advantage comparing with other types of level switch. The working principle of Magnetic Float Level Switch is direct and simple. Set one point or
Multi-point of magnetic switch in sealed un-magnetic metal or industrial plastic tube. Fix the

Cautions for Installation
1. The inner bore diameter (D) of the flange or screw must be longer than the diameter of the float (d).
2. Wave-resistance tube needed if huge fluctuation of the liquid surface might happen.
3. Please keep far away from the water inlet during installation.
4. To avoid being stuck by the sundries.
Users should select suitable float according to the working temp., pressure, gravity, acid and alkali of the tested liquid.
1.Temperature:
PVC maximum temperature is 80°C, PP maximum temperature is 80°C,
PVDF maximum temperature is 150°C,
SUS304/316L maximum temperature is 200°C.
2.Pressure:
Plastic float maximum pressure resistance 5 kg/cm2,
SUS304/316L maximum pressure resistance 40 kg/cm2.
3.Viscosity:
For viscosity liquid, it is better to choose float with big diameter and small gravity to
overcome the surface tension of liquid.
4.Acid and alkali liquid:
Please choose PP or PVDF, if temp. is higher than 80°C, PVDF ONLY
5.Alcohol and oil etc. liquid:
It is suggested to use stainless SUS.
Please select food grade SUS316L in food field.
6.Gravity:
Float's gravity S.G. should be less than tested liquid. -

Side mounting float switch is cost effective for level control applications in small tanks where it is more convenient to install a level switch through the sidewall of the tank. When the float arm is raised to the switch housing, the switch is activated. As the float drops away from the housing, it is deactivated. The movement of the float brings the imbedded magnet into close proximity to the encapsulated reed switch, causing it to actuate. The contact function may be selected as either normally open or normally closed.
