Application:
The mini-float level switches are a good choice for simple, non-critical applications
with clean, non-coating or non-scaling type liquids. The reed output provides a reliable switch interface with remote devices such as PLC, SCADA or alarm. The general purpose sensor features a PP submersible probe and cable, and is designed for vertical installation inside the tank.
 
Magnets in the float actuate a magnetic switch in the stem. So simple is the method of converting mechanical motion into an electrical signal that reliable service can be expected for years. The switch can be thread-mounted from the top or bottom of the tank. The length can be extended by standard pipe and fittings.
 
PVDF or Polypropylene for reliable operation without maintenance, the switch functions include control of make-up water in food steamers, chemistry in automatic film processing, coolant in molding machines, and hundreds of other equipment applications. The switch can be mounted up or down, and can be changed from "normally open" to "normally closed" by removing the retaining ring and reversing the float.
